ABOUT ABOUT

Virtual VDC June 1-4

We will offer the following courses during the week of June 1-4. Please register your camper for this week if they are interested in any, or all, of these offerings. The full schedule, including dates and times, will be emailed to you the week before camp. You will be able to login to each course you want to participate in throughout the week.

Virtual Vanguard Discovery Camp will be conducted using the Zoom platform. You will need to have Zoom installed to participate. You will also need to have a computer, A microphone and camera to participate in discussions or to share your work. You will also need to have access to a reliable internet connection. You would be able to participate using a cell phone or tablet with internet access as well using the Zoom app. Participant cameras and microphones will be disabled upon joining the session. Participants who enable their own camera or microphone will agree to being viewed by other participants, camp staff, and instructors. Recordings of the camp may be shared afterward. Pictures and clips may be shared for advertising purposes on social media and the ASUB webpage.

Be sure to have paper and pencil ready for each camp to take notes and jot down questions as we go! Additional supplies may be needed if campers wish to follow along at home for some individual courses. Those lists will be emailed the week before camp.

Students will have the opportunity to hear from seasoned professionals who make up a forensic team—police officers, detectives, coroner, search and rescue teams and their animals.

Join Justin Allen, EMS Program Manager at ASUB, during this session to experience a day in the life of someone in the medical field! Learn about the procedures and techniques used by medical professionals to save lives in emergency medical situations.
