Each camp's sessions will vary depending on the available instructors, facilities, and local activities but all will have interactive sessions organized around the following themes:

MUSE MONDAYS

Campers will learn about a variety of the arts throughout Monday’s sessions. They will explore unique and creative acting techniques. Campers will dive in and work with various mediums of art. Music will include the opportunity to learn a song created just for VDC 2023 and put on a show for the end of camp! Campers will also participate in a dance session to see how art can be physical. Muse Mondays will be a magical day of fun!

TECH TUESDAYS

Tech Tuesdays will offer various sessions based on technical programs and careers that ASU-Beebe can offer or support. Campers will learn about a wide range of future career fields and how STEAM is part of a diverse range of fields. The campers will participate in fun and educational activities that are associated with each session. Tech Tuesdays will be terrific!

WILD WEDNESDAYS

Wild Wednesday is going to be just what it says, “Wild”! Campers will discover an array of things that most consider ‘wild and crazy.’ The sessions can explore anything from wild weather to wild animals. Or, from first responders to how we respond to natural disasters. A variety of wild and wonderful educational experiences and activities await!

TOP ‘VANGUARD CHEF’ THURSDAYS

On Thursdays, campers will learn about a combination of math and science skills when it comes to learning about and making food. The campers will participate in a mixture of sessions that include cooking, baking, food experiments, and best of all—eating! Tasty treats will be created by our new Vanguard camper chefs and the activities will be a smorgasbord of fun!

FREAKY FRIDAYS

Campers will discover a world of amazing scientific possibilities through variety of Freaky Friday sessions. Campers will delve into various activities such as flight, survival skills, mad scientist labs, and so much more. Fridays will be a fun-filled fabulous day learning fantastic freaky things! The camp will end with an amazing grand finale performance with parents, family, and friends, with camp and college staff.
